Obama Inauguration igniting racial tensions

Here I was thinking that this guy was the one to bridge the differences between Americans and lead us into a new era of common decency. After listening to Obama's campaign speeches, I was convinced that this guy was beyond the race thing. The way he presents himself gave me confidence that he was sincere. He distanced himself from that stupid outspoken preacher from Illinois.

Then at the end of Barack's speech, this stupid bumbling retard preacher has to get on a national stage and insult people who voted for Barack by bringing race back into this election. Obviously Reverend Lowery is a racist and he's inciting racial tensions by saying the stupid things he just said.

Reverend Lowery

Black will not be asked to get back.
Brown can stick around.
Yellow will be mellow.
When the Red Man can get ahead man.
When white will embrace what is right.

Is anyone else offended by this?

Isn't he insinuating that the white man has been oppressing all of these minority groups? What exactly do you mean "When white will embrace what is right". He is subtly trying to blame all of the previous racism in America solely on white people. I beg to differ. Do you think the Black Panthers were racist? Do you think the hispanic drug gangs in Los Angeles are racist? Do you think the Bloods and Crypts are racist?

Screw you Lowery! You are the racist.

I am extremely disappointed in the inauguration. It looks like Obama's first act as President was to use the national spotlight to give strength to the racial arguments that he has previously said he wants to disolve. What a shame.

And here I thought that American Presidents were above this petty nonsense.

If this kind of talk continues, there is no doubt that Barack Obama's presidency will go down in history as one of the biggest failures of all time.
